Fir for the Holidays
This was Remy’s first try at doing what is called a “tree pour”. It is so named because it looks like the rings of a tree trunk if it was sliced open. After the initial pour was done, Remy chose to manipulate the painting so it lost some of its shape, but not all. It’s awesome to witness a child not affected by the “rules” that come along with techniques and truly embraces the saying that “art has no rules” that adults often forget.
The colors have a “Christmas” feel so we name this “Fir for the Holidays”. It is a 12” X 12” acrylic canvas and is available for sale for $36 plus shipping. If you are interested in purchasing this piece or have a question, please fill out the form below and be sure to include the title!
